Fat Blast is a special system designed to help lose body fat. It combines the two most proven training methods for burning fat: Interval Training and Resistance Training. These two methods will turn your body into a fat burning machine. This addition to your training is sure to bring your fitness to the next level. Education about fat loss and nutrition will accompany the Fat Blast training program.

Typical Class Structure (1 hour sessions)

  • Warm-up and Activate Muscles (10 Minutes)
  • This section will get you fired up and ready to go. It will incorporate specific flexibility, mobility and activation exercises designed to prepare your body for the upcoming challenge. This section also will aid in keeping your body healthy throughout your training program.

  • Resistance Training (30-40 Minutes)
  • More muscle means more fat loss! Resistance training is the number one choice for fat burning because you burn fat not only while you are training, you will be burning fat for the rest of the day because you have boosted your metabolism. We will run this section in a circuit fashion to keep your heart pumping. Get ready to work!

  • Interval Training (10-20 Minutes)
  • Now we move to the final chapter of the Fat Blast training system. Now that you have been resistance training for the past 30 minutes your body has used most of its sugar for energy. This leaves mostly fat for you to blast away. Interval training will allow you to burn many more calories than long slow distance because like resistance training, interval training enables you to be burning fat for the rest of the day! Get ready to have some fun during interval training. The bike or treadmill is not the only way to perform interval training. Sled pushing, slideboard training, bodyweight circuits and medicine ball training are just a few of the modalities we will use to get that heart rate up.

    A heart rate monitor is required for this class as it allows you to personalize your interval training within the group. Please check with us before you purchase as there are certain requirements. Heart Rate monitors are also available for purchase at our front desk.

  • Cool Down and Flexibility Program (5 Minutes)
  • When finished, feel free to burn Fat for the rest of the day!

"After 3 years at another gym and a couple of personal trainers later, I was ready to concede to an aging 42 year old body that has had 3 children.
