Vanessa couldn't be luckier falling into her lifelong passion of dance, fitness, & helping people and she brings New Jersey her sunny California style.
Her work centers on fitness, wellness and creating a healthier lifestyle both physically and mentally.
Vanessa's dance background and low back injury in high school led her to the world of fitness with a desire to help others feel good about themselves. Working at multiple gyms in San Diego County during her career, she has taught a variety of classes from Pilates Fusion to Cardio Kickboxing. With such passion and determination, she has been able to build that trust with her clients in helping them become pain-free, improve their posture and body awareness, working on their flexibility, and most important for all, strengthening the core! She has changed the lives of many clients as her personality, energy and drive makes them want to come back for more!
At her previous post she was Director of Pilates at Fitness Quest 10 in San Diego. After many years of working with clients for post-rehab, she began designing and implementing off-season programs for elite athletes including LaDainian Tomlinson, Quentin Jammer, Luis Castillo, Sean Phillips, Igor Olshansky, and Mark Prior. She was instrumental in helping these high profile players, and others, to reach their peak potential by enhancing their training regimen off season which included, flexibility work and strengthening the intrinsic muscles and core to eliminate injury during the season. Other clientele included individuals, business professionals, golfers, Irish dancers, ice skaters, post-rehab patients, and pre and post-natal clients.
In 2003 Vanessa graduated from San Diego State University with a B.S. in Kinesiology and a Minor in Dance. She then attended graduate school where she received her M.S. in Corrective Exercise and Rehabilitation in 2007. She is CPR and AED Certified and holds certifiactions for fitness coaching, Pilates, corrective exercise and her most recent completion, Fascial Stretch Therapy. This is the latest technique, focusing on stretching and moving the body's connective tissue. This type of bodywork can help individuals of all ages and athletes with their flexibility, circulation, reduce injury, and improve one's sport and overall daily activities. She is excited to share this work which just continues to intertwine with helping people lead better lives, healthier and happier!

Vanessa grew up in Fullerton, California where she began dancing, performing, and acting at the age of three. Throughout her childhood she kept herself extremely busy with dance, print, fit-modeling, guest appearances on TV shows, and movies. During that time she could be seen on multiple Barbie boxes and other print advertisements. Dance remained a passion in her life leading her to teach dance to all ages for over 10 years, and eventually launching her career in Pilates and Personal Training in 2001. Throughout college she was a member of the Dance Company, UNITY, performing throughout the West Coast and in New York.
